PhD scientist with deep expertise in lipid biology, lipidomics, and omics data science. Based in Hamilton, Ontario. Working with clients in Canada, the United States, and Brazil.
I am a lipid scientist who built the analytical workflows to study lipids at scale — and learned to write the code to make sense of the data. That breadth — from lipid metabolism to LC-MS method development to statistical pipelines — is what makes the difference between data and insight.
That foundation shapes how I approach lipidomics data. Most lipidomics consultants come from the analytical chemistry or data science side and learned the biology later. I come from the biology — and developed the analytical and computational expertise to work with large-scale LC-MS datasets, build QC frameworks, and integrate omics data layers.
My most recent academic role at McMaster University involved large-scale LC-MS lipidomics on a nationally representative cross-sectional pediatric study — over 5,000 samples across 26 analytical batches. That project required designing and validating QC pipelines capable of handling population-scale biological complexity.
I work fluently in English and Portuguese — which allows me to serve clients and communicate science across different markets with equal depth and cultural fluency.
I do — from lipid metabolism to clinical biomarkers. A decade of fundamental lipid biology means I read your data through a biological lens, not just a statistical one.
I clear the noise so you get the insight. From study design through analysis and publication — every step is connected, nothing gets lost in translation.
Direct access, real expertise, end to end. I work with a small number of clients at a time — which means you always have my full attention.
